The Month of the Dead contest spans throughout three different phases, and each phase will correspond with the three issues of Deadman’s Tome that are due out September, October, and November 2009.

Phase I :

Based on the votes we have received, Michael W. Garza's short story entitled "The Harvester" will be competing against the winner of phase 2 and phase 3 for first place.
